Holiday Clubs

My two sons have been coming to Shooting Stars for the last 6 years. The staff are lovely and they are very thoughtful and considerate with the children. There are always activities catering for different interests. My  boys love playing football on the green or the astro turf!” Shooting stars has felt like extended family. The staff really do care about the children and it’s reassuring to know they are safe and being well looked after. My boys said, “There is so many cool activities we do such as bingo, quizzes, lego challenges, dodgeball and so much more. There is also lots of games, basketball and colouring to do!

Both of my children have been at Little Stars since their first birthday, and it has been the best start for them. The team show genuine care, get to know each child as an individual, and create an environment where they are always happy and confident. My eldest is now thriving in Shooting Stars, and the rapport with the staff has been fantastic throughout.

My son has been attending Little and Shooting Stars since he was 9 months old. He is now 9 and is a regular at Shooting Stars and their Holiday Club. It’s brilliant value for money considering all the activities that are offered, and every day is planned out so well, so the children know what they are doing. The staff at Little and Shooting Stars are so lovely, kind and encouraging to all the children and always adapt to the individual child’s needs, they are also so willing to help parents with any queries that they may have. It’s lovely to see all the children from different schools mix and play together. My son loves it.

I couldn’t speak highly enough of my experience with Little Stars and Shooting Stars. I really value the friendly nature of the staff and have always been assured that my children are in safe hands. The staff are very caring and build strong, trusting relationships with the children. The holiday clubs are also very impressive with lots of different activities and trips planned which my daughter loves, whilst also being very affordable.

When it come to selecting a holiday club for my daughter I did not think twice before contacting Shooting Stars, after her time at Little Stars from being a baby. We did take her round a couple to look at because we wanted her to feel comfortable but the only place she felt comfortable was Shooting Stars. We feel she has so much fun at the holiday club but equally learns a great deal too. Our little girl is not someone who adjusts to change well, however we have had no issues with her in wanting to go to Shooting Stars. The staff are wonderful and when I am at work I have no worries about her I know she is being well looked after and being exposed to a number of different experiences. This is why we would choose Shooting Stars over and over again and why we will drive the extra miles for the people who go the extra mile for our children.

My children have been going to Shooting Stars at the Cricket Club for three years now. I’ve always known my boys are in great hands while they’re there. They are greeted with a warm welcome and there are always fun and varied activities for them to get involved in. When my eldest was having trouble settling in initially, the team went out of their way to find out what he was interested in and then made sure those resources were available to him. I really appreciated their care and their child-led approach. I’m so grateful that we have access to such a well run, nurturing and safe setting.

My two boys are always happy to go to Shooting Stars and in fact they complain if I pick them up too early! This shows just how well the staff cater to the needs of the children. They provide a range of activities, both indoor and outdoor, using a variety of skills and catering to a range of interests. The kind, fun and caring nature of staff means children feel comfortable whilst attending the club.

Shooting stars is a welcoming safe environment for my child. The walk to and from school is always managed very well and you can see that safety is at the heart of what all staff do. My son loves going to after school club. He often brings home things he has created as the club offer fun educational activities. Staff really get to know your child which means a lot to me and I’m sure other parents would agree. So thankful we have Shooting Stars.

We are more than happy with care provision at the Scout Hut. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, children are allowed to have great fun playing their choice of games under careful but not overbearing supervision.  My 7 year old daughter also enjoys the staff led quizzes.  She likes it so much at the Scout Hut that she cries if we collect her early.
