At Little Stars we provide freshly prepared, nutritious meals to support every child’s growth and development.
Our nursery cook, Hannah, holds a Level 3 Food Safety Qualification and prepares a variety of balanced meals each day, using fresh vegetables and quality ingredients to create delicious, homely cooked dishes.
All meals are made fresh on site daily and carefully planned in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Nutrition Guidance. At breakfast children are provided with a selection of wholegrain cereals and wholemeal toast.
Lunch is served a midday and a snack tea mid-afternoon. Throughout the day children are offered a mid morning and mid afternoon snack which consists of fresh fruit, vegetables and a range of savoury options.
We cater for every child’s individual needs, including weaning stages, specific dietary requirements, allergies and cultural preference.
All our practitioners hold a Level 2 in Food Safety which is renewed annually.
