Parent Partnership
We believe that strong partnerships with parents and carers are essential to every child’s success. Each child is allocated a dedicated key worker who provides individualised and personalised care, supporting their learning and development as they grow. This special relationship ensures that every child feels safe, secure and valued.
We believe that settling your child into the nursery setting is vital to ensuring they feel safe and secure within our care. We begin by inviting families to attend an initial one hour visit with their child, giving you the opportunity to meet your child’s Key Person, and share important information about your child’s routines, interests, and individual needs. The second session is a one hour visit without parents or carers, allowing your child to begin building relationships with staff and becoming familiar with the environment, reassured that you will return shortly. Following this, sessions are typically offered in two-hour blocks. Some children may settle quickly, while others may benefit from additional shorter sessions, and we work closely with families to ensure the transition into nursery is positive, gentle, and suited to each child’s needs.
